Meet our owners, Rusty and Robin Nolan! Rusty and Robin assumed ownership of Mid Iowa Gymnastics in March of 2017 and have continued to build the “families-first” and caring environment established by the previous owners.

Rusty joined Mid Iowa Gymnastics as a coach for four years before taking over the operation with his wife, Robin. Rusty has always had a passion for the sport of gymnastics… competing in the sport at the age of 10 and continuing through high school. Rusty and Robin’s daughters had enrolled in Mid Iowa Gymnastics and their passion for the sport led to them joining the Mid Iowa staff and eventually becoming owners.

You will find both Rusty and Robin, along with their two daughters, Aveda and Summer, at the gym at least 3-4 evenings a week… with Rusty coaching the Xcel Competitive Team and Robin overseeing the recreational classes and getting to know the Mid Iowa families in the lobby. You will also usually find Aveda and Summer tumbling around in the gym or practicing with their teammates on the Xcel Competitive Team.
